Export sales constitute 17% of Bega’s product sales.

Bega Cheese exports over 10,000 tonnes of processed and natural cheddar cheese and whey powder into world commodity markets every year. Since the early 1990s, we have established retail product sales into 50 different countries. Click here for a list of our selected international distributors.

Bega Cheese is developing retail markets abroad for Bega branded natural and processed cheeses. Our long term business strategy involves building a strong brand presence at retail level the world over.

Our whey powder, packaged in 25kg bags, is exported primarily to Asian countries, including China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

Bega Cheese has the potential to manufacture and distribute 30,000+ tonnes of natural cheese, and 30,000 tonnes of processed cheese each year. For export markets we can cut and pack the Bega brand to comply with specific market labelling requirements.

Some customers may want their own proprietary branding or private label on cheddar and processed cheese products, and Bega is able to service this requirement. Bega Cheese is also able to fill major industrial and food service contracts including burger slices, portion control, government and other similar contracts.
